Alfa-Bank helps children of the crew that served on Kursk

The children will be covered upon reaching the age of 16, those older will be covered for one year with the right to receive money any time during the contract. Insurance makes provisions for providing coverage upon receiving funds from other policies.

Alfa-Guarantee, a subsidiary of Alfa-Bank, and the Eastern European Insurance Agency (VEStA) will implement the program.

Alfa-Bank’s management made a decision to provide assistance to families of the crew on August 20, 2000.

In addition at the ending of August, Alfa-Bank allowed money to be transferred to the families free-of-charge.

These special accounts were opened by government and non-profit organizations in Russian banks for the purpose of collecting money for families of the crew.
