Oleg Sysuev

First Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors

Oleg Sysuev is First Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of Alfa-Bank. He is responsible for the Bank’s regional branch network and banking in the regions.

Prior to joining the Bank in 1999, he served as First Deputy Head of Russian President Administration (1998–1999), Vice Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Government, Minister of Labor and Social Development of the Russian Federation (1997–1998).

Within 5 years, he was mayor of Samara. Oleg Sysuev is a prizewinner of the 1996 competition «Russian Mayor». He was a permanent representative of Russia in the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the European Council.

He has published numerous articles on the structures of post-Soviet Russia.

Oleg Sysuev was born in Samara, Russia on the 23rd of March 1953.

He graduated from Samara Aerospace University.

He is The Chairman of the Council «Life-Line» Charity Foundation.
