First Deputy Chairman of the Executive Board
He is holding responsibility for the Bank’s Administration, Executive Secretariat, Administrative Affairs, Regional Business Units and Federal Government Relations. Since 2007, Andrei Sokolov has served as First Deputy Chairman of the Executive Board.
Before joining Alfa-Bank Andrei Sokolov was Chairman of the Board at RESO-Garantia insurance company. From March to October 2002, First Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors at MDM-Bank. In 2000–2002, First Deputy Chairman of the Board at Conversbank, and in 1995–2000 served in Alfa-Bank as Deputy Head of Corporate Customer Relations. Since 1998 — Deputy Chairman of the Executive Board, Alfa-Bank.
Andrei Sokolov holds a degree in Mathematics and Cybernetics from Moscow State University (1977). In 1981, graduated from Moscow State Institute of Foreign Languages.
Duties:
— participation in the development and implementation of the bank’s policy on the cooperation with state authorities, providing support and promotion of projects implemented by the bank at the federal and regional levels;
— managing the Bank's regional branch network property administration;
— overseeing the work of Alfa-Bank’s Main Credit and Regional Network Development Committees.
